Emmett Casciato will be honored on TV with
Caring for the Carolina’s Award

On Tuesday, June 25 at 12:30 pm, please tune in to WSPA-TV, (CBS Channel 7, Spartanburg), when museum curator Emmett Casciato will receive the station’s Caring for the Carolinas award.

This award is given to individuals who generously give of their time and talents for the benefit of their communities.

The photos here represent only a small fraction of the lives Emmett Casciato has touched. The programs he has created and inventions he has imagined and built bring the museum to life and teach us about our proud history.

Under Emmett’s strong and energetic leadership, the museum is always changing and growing, to touch more people every day.
